Mercedes-Benz Unveils New E-Class Vehicles in Indonesia
PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia introduced two new engine variants of the successful E-Class: the new E 200 Avantgarde and E 300 SportStyle Avantgarde.
With the introduction of the new E 200 Avantgarde and the new E 300 SportStyle Avantgarde, Mercedes-Benz completes its E-Class line-up for 2019 with the E 350 EQ Boost launched earlier this year.
The new E 200 Avantgarde now comes with the new-generation inline four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivering 197 hp (145 kW) and 320 Nm of torque. Mated to the 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission, it ensures a smooth and efficient drive. The E 200 Avantgarde now comes with new-designed 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, DYNAMIC SELECT and AGILITY CONTROL suspension with selective damping system.
When it comes to intelligence, Driving Assistance and Safety Systems such as Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC, Blind Spot Assist and PRE-SAFE system come as standard. The E 200 Avantgarde is furthermore equipped with Ambient Lighting with 64 colours, Wireless charging, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity and the Widescreen Cockpit including two brilliant next-generation high-resolution displays, each with a wide screen diagonal of 12.3 inches (31.2 cm) – unique in this segment.
The engine of the E 300 Avantgarde now delivers 258 hp (190 kW) and 370 Nm of torque and is connected to the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. With the SportStyle Avantgarde equipment, the E 300 is easily recognized by the grille with 2 louvres in high-gloss black, chrome trim elements on the front bumpers, SportStyle badges on the front wings, rear bumper with trim element in high-gloss black and 18-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in black with a high-sheen finish.
