Under PT Eurokars Artha Utama, Porsche Indonesia shares their success story by welcoming the new Macan model in Indonesia.

When the Macan first debuted in 2014, model line was so successful that it generated 350,000 deliveries in just over 4 years. Having been dubbed the SUV version of the Porsche 911, the Macan strengthens its identity as the sportiest SUV on the market.

“The new Macan roars back again and with more to offer in terms of design, technology and handling, continues to excite the Indonesian market ever since its first debut in Jakarta,” says Christoph Choi, Managing Director of Porsche Indonesia. “We believe that the Macan fits the Indonesian market very well with the challenging and undeniably beautiful terrain that we have. Also, given the combination of sports car performance and the functionality of a SUV, out customers who value togetherness with their family and friends can be assured that in the Macan they can always choose thrilling.”

The new Macan now has an even sportier and modern look. It is equipped with headlights featuring LED technology as a standard. Front of the Macan has been meticulously re-worked so that is now appears even wider, while the comprehensive overhaul at the rear builds on the sleek design of the previous model.

One highlight of the Macan is the new 10.9˝ touchscreen display in Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The new design boasts full-HD resolution with a start screen that can be fully customised.

It also features the new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) which offers many digital functions. The full-HD touchscreen was enlarged from 7.2 to 10.9 inches, incorporated seamlessly into the newly designed instrument panel.

Although unusual for the SUV segment, the Macan still features mixed tyres with different widths on the front and rear axles. As with Porsche sports cars, this arrangement enables the driver to take full advantage of the intelligent, all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) when it comes to driving dynamics.
