A Night of Elegance with Valentino at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards
The stars were out and about this past weekend for the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards and dressing the top showstoppers of the night was Valentino and their classic looks.
This past weekend was a night of classic Hollywood elegance and surprising celebrations at the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. As with any award season, the biggest and brightest stars of the night not only came to win, but dress to kill. As a name well known with actors and actresses and who always came with showstopping pieces, Valentino was there to dress some of the best dressed players of the night.
The first was the beautiful Lady Gaga. Nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama with “A Star is Born” the actress was especially stunning that night with a Valentino Haute Couture dress especially designed for her by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli. Truly a sight to behold, the gown was a baby blue gown that gave a subtle, yet also dramatic, entrance for Lady Gaga. The gown itself gave her a Cinderella-esque feel and made her the talk of the town.
Not one to back down on a fashion and always bringing elegance in her own way, Actress Gemma Chan was present during the awards wearing a Valentino Haute Couture Dress from the Fall/Winter 18/19 Collection. Nominated with her energetic ensemble cast for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Crazy Rich Asians, Gemma’s dress was a breath-taking deep blue gown with a backless feature and a high neck front.
Nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series with “The Tale”, Actress Laura Dern was the third celebrity who wore Valentino, with this dress coming from the Pre-Fall 19 Collection. A bright red in colour, the dress was see-through A-line dress that gave a classic, yet bohemian vibe to the red carpet.
The night was a big win for some and these looks only elevated the ladies of the night to winners of the Best Dressed for the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
