Spreading Happiness with Time International and “Foxtrot Six” Casts
Time International and the Cast of “Foxtrot Six” ends the year with millions-worth smiles of children at PAUD An-Nisa.
Currently being reconstructed, PAUD An-Nisa is an underprivileged early childhood education centre located in Kampung Cimanggis Bogor, about 50 km from Jakarta. Established in 2011, PAUD An-Nisa was formerly intended as a TPQ (Al-Quran learning group centre).
Supporting Happy Heart Fund Indonesia’s program to rebuild schools and as part of its corporate social responsibility, Time International and the casts of the anticipated action film Foxtrot Six paid a special visit to PAUD An-Nisa. Children were, thus, surprised with the presence of Oka Antara and Mike Lewis, who then took part in a series of fun activities with the children.
Oka Antara, Mike Lewis and the employees of Time International contributed to the reconstruction through wall painting and mural drawing for the nearly-finished school. Prior to the reconstruction, the sole classroom was severely destructed at the ceiling along with leakage issues and lack of sanitation facilities which impacted the educative activity of the school. In assuring a better study interphase, efforts were placed to provide a better and safe environment for the children and the immediate community. The new PAUD will have two classrooms, a teacher’s room, a toilet and a playground facility.
“We believe that we have a duty to support the children of today who will be our leaders of tomorrow. We are proud to partner with Happy Hearts Fund to get every child back to school and show them that they have a great journey ahead of them,” said Irwan Danny Mussry, President and CEO of Time International.
PAUD An-Nisa is the sixth school rebuilding project supported by Time International and is expected to be completed by December 2018. Hand in hand with Happy Hearts Indonesia, the company has been supporting early childhood development and education programs in Indonesia since 2014.
